Laura Moog, BS, LMP grew up in a small farming community in Montana. After earning a Finance degree in Billings, MT, she spent 10 years working many different office jobs. During this time, she was searching for a way to help people. She decided to give massage therapy a try. From the first day of massage school, she knew she was in the right place. Laura was trained at, COMTA Accredited, East West College of the Healing Arts in Portland, OR. She completed the 801 hour program, focusing on Deep Tissue, Trigger Point, and Thai massage. She has taken over 100 hours of additional training in CranioSacral Therapy from the Upledger Institute, and has just begun taking a new series of classes in Visceral Manipulation from the Barral Institute. She is a Professional Member of the AMTA, is Nationally Certified with the NCBTMB, and is Licensed in the State of Washington. Since 2005, she has thrived on finding therapeutic ways to help individuals relieve pain. Each person is different and each session is different, depending on what the client needs. For each of the modalities she uses, with the recent exception of Visceral Manipulation, she has between 70 and 100 hours of specialized training, so she can customize a session with confidence. Working with a variety of Chiropractors and Physical Therapists, she gets the benefit of being able to help and be a part of full body/mind/spirit transformations combining all types of care. She spent many years ignoring pain and discomfort for herself. She now understands it is not a way to live. Let her help you find "a new way through life!" |
